"Evolving Duo is a formed by Martina Di Roma (Voice, Fx) and Pasquale Ivan Dante Rinaldi (Piano). The project, born in 2019, has the purpose of presenting original composition by the two musicians, arranged specifically for a duo setting, and some of the greatest jazz compositions, rearranged for the small ensemble.

The two musicians have a long history of collaboration, in a duo setting and in other context, where they played in Italy and Europe in different projects and bands. The duo is influenced by the modern jazz sound, but never forgetting the roots and the origins of Jazz music.

The sound of the ensemble is characterized by a strong interplay and by the utmost attention to the rhythmical aspect of the music, and it is a perfect reflection of the personal experiences of the two musicians.
